In the beginning when God created humans in His image and he desired a relationship with us. But when Eve chose to eat the apple in the Garden of Eden it changed everything. This one simple act brought sin into the world and eternally separated us from our Father God. There is no way for us to reach our Father on our own; no matter how “good” we are.⠀

Romans 3:23 says, “For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”.⠀

BUT, there is good news. Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” ⠀

Jesus went to die on the cross for OUR sin so that we may be in relationship with our Father God. Jesus is the bridge that repairs and restores what God intended in the beginning. Our God sees us and loves us SO much and by accepting Christ as our Savior we will spend eternity in Heaven with our Heavenly Father. ⠀

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”⠀

John 5:24 says, “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.”⠀

“We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1⠀

I pray you will consider all of these things today as we anticipate tomorrow. Easter is a day for celebrating that Jesus rose from the grave. I pray you will fully appreciate all that He did for you and for me. ⠀

If you’ve never accepted Christ before, you can pray this prayer below. If you do so, please reach out to your local church or a friend who can help guide you in your new walk with Jesus. They’d love to help support you and give you the tools you need to grow in your faith.

“Dear Jesus, I acknowledge that I’m a sinner and need You to forgive me for all of my sin, yesterday’s, today’s and tomorrow’s. I know that You died on the cross so that my sins could be washed clean with Your precious blood. Thank you. I want to make You the Lord of my life, and I will trust and follow You. Everything I have is Yours now. In Your name, Lord. Amen.”⠀

Thank you Lord, for paying the price so I may have eternal life with our Father in Heaven. I pray everything I do in this life would bring Your Kingdom glory.
