Hey ya’ll. This will be brief but I wanted to give a quick shout out to an old friend from elementary school, Allie Mannon. Four years ago today, she had a dream and opened up her adorable little boutique called “Hey Helen” just off Main Street in her one stoplight town. For those from the NRV, this is old news, but I did want to introduce all my Charlotte friends to her amazing shop.
She didn’t know I was coming or that I would have my camera, but I’m thankful she let me capture a few photos anyway. Allie is over 30 weeks pregnant with her fourth and looks absolutely amazing!
Hey Helen is beautiful and reminds me of the perfect blend of Anthropologie, Free People and Altr’d State. In fact, Allie told me that most of the brands she sells can also be found at Altar’d State but without all the markup! Yep, it really is that good.

P.S. My parents have a suite on Air BnB within walking distance of her store, so if you’re ever in search of a new small town to check out, add Floyd to your list. They have a Friday night jamboree and lots of great places to hike and little shops to explore. It is not to be missed and only 2 1/2 hours from Charlotte!
